Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.    -Mark Twain

The MOST IMPORTANT Decision

We are all capable of standing firm and expressing our own beliefs, which is why I need to tell you about someone who loves you more than you could ever imagine. He died for you on a cross over 2,000 years ago, yet was resurrected and is living today in heaven. His name is Jesus Christ. If you don’t already know Him personally, I encourage you to find out more about the sacrifice He made for you so that you have the opportunity to live in eternity with Him
I have peace and can finally enjoy every moment God has given me, good or bad. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the blessings God has given me through my tough situations.
Go confidently in the direction of your dreams, live the life you've imagined. -Henry David Thoreau

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  --Jeremiah 29:11

Welcome to my world
Relentless passion from the heart
Hunger for redemption
Minutes of pain
Flawless finishes
Feel the glory. The Thrill.

Rain

The rain comes
Through booming bright clouds
It falls exhausted
On wildflowers and butterflies
Above sleepy cities
And then stops suddenly

When I was younger I'd play dress up and dream of my own fairytales. I would read the same book over and over again, knowing exactly what would come next. I had that one pen with six colors, and tried to push all the buttons at once. I would wait behind a door to scare someone, knowing I wasn't actually scary. I would fake being asleep so my Dad would carry me to bed. Remember when we were kids and couldn't wait to grow up? Now that day is upon me. Graduation. College. Real life. Where did the time go? Weren't we all just starting kindergarten yesterday? One day soon, I will be walking across the graduation stage and saying goodbye to my childhood. Am I ready for what this year holds? I'm not so sure. Too much of my time was spent wishing for the next day or next big moment instead of finding joy in the mundane. Life is too short to wish away. One day we will realize how important each and every day is. Through the good and the bad, we are blessed with this beautiful life given to us by God.
